Pink Apple

If hot pink ever got married I'm almost certain it would marry an apple green color - it would be a match made in heaven! A created this vibrant fresh room for a little girl who wanted everything in hot bright pink but I couldn't help adding in some apple green accents! The standout item for me is the gorgeous apple green rug - the color of the rug is actually called Lettuce Leaf! The cane bed head is also a beautiful feminine addition and creates an interested backdrop for the bed. My current obsession is for mexican textiles so I incorporated this into the canvas artwork. You can see the existing numbers wallpaper in the last photo above which was originally a soft pale green color - instead of removing it I just decided to paint it white - it gives that wall a subtle yet interesting textural effect.

Number Room

I'm so excited to share this uber trendy boys room that I created for a lucky little 6 year old boy who has a fascination with numbers and loves lego. The fabulous chalkboard wallpaper really does look like a big chalkboard that Einstein used to work out all of his algorithms on! I also love these wooden numbers I found (I can't stop saying in my mind '2, 4, 6, 8 dig in don't wait') which makes the entrance to the room more interesting. And I can't leave this post without mentioning the amazing dice storage boxes I found - they are full to the brim with lego!

Studs and all ...

For this star studded room I had to work around a furniture piece that the client wanted to incorporate - the studded pink chaise chair. So we decided to incorporate some intricate stud work into the grey linen bed head to tie it all in and I think it turned out absolutely gorgeous! Once again I used one of my favourite wallpapers as the backdrop which gives the room a wow factor. The subtle classic tones of grey and pinks is great for a girls room as I think it can grow into an older girls room too.
